CP Tech Center welcomes Dan King as new associate director

The National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center) is thrilled to welcome Dr. Daniel King as its new associate director. Dr. King earned his BS and MS in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his PhD in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He previously worked for the CP Tech Center as a research engineer, where he assisted with research and technology efforts. In his role as associate director, he will continue that work, putting the latest science in concrete pavements into practice around the country.

Dr. King has also worked for the Iowa Concrete Paving Association and Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association, providing expertise in concrete pavements and materials to Iowa’s construction and engineering communities. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Iowa.

Dr. King succeeds John Adam, who retired as associate director in July after seven years at the CP Tech Center.
