Project description

This is the restart of BED96. This research project is to determine the factors that influence the cracking potential of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) concrete mixes using the most advantageous test apparatus while considering the AASHTO 334 with concrete that utilized #57 stone as coarse aggregate. The newly created test method will have defined dimensions and specifications to create a Florida Method of Test, which will be used to approve FDOT mixture designs compared to a baseline mix.
