Revisiting (Early Opening) Strengths for Pavement. What Do You Need, and How Do You Measure It?
Description
Advancements have been made to improve the efficiency of concrete pavement construction. The old perceptions that concrete needs 7 to 14 days to gain strength and hydrate before opening to traffic are antiquated and unnecessarily slow down construction schedules. This webinar will highlight that with current mixes, improved and realistic opening strengths, and modern testing technologies, concrete pavements can be constructed safely and efficiently and be opened quickly to construction and local traffic with minimal disruption to the surrounding communities.
