Best Practices for Repairing and Preserving Concrete Streets and Roadways
Held by: Dan King, P.E., National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center)
Keeping streets and roadways in good condition is one of the most important and often one of the most challenging tasks faced by state and local agencies. This spring’s installment of the Iowa Concrete Lunch and Learn series reviews the large variety of treatments and methods that you can use to help restore and extend the life of concrete pavements. We’ll cover how to select the right treatment for the right pavement at the right time, strategies to ensure long-lasting performance in the field, and examples of successful local projects that have delivered improvements and cost savings to roadway owners and the traveling public.
